We booked the so called penthouse and a suite to have a family reunion there. When we got there we were told that the penthouse is not available, although we had communicated with hotel several times to make sure that everything is ready as planned. Then we noticed that this hotel doesn’t have any penthouse. This is a 4 story old building which is renovated and only has a few separate rooms on each floor including the 4th floor. I’m pretty sure that the rooms are smaller than what they say. These tiny rooms are generally clean, however, I believe they are learning to manage a hotel like this and they are missing many important factors. Room amenities are poor. No iron, no safe box in most rooms, not enough towels, almost no kitchenware... One more thing, many of the rooms have no windows which turns them to gloomy boxes. In general, I wish they had advertised the truth. I still don’t understand why they sell penthouse while they don’t have such a thing. The location and service (I think they can learn how to manage this place) can attract enough tourists without any false advertisement.

Overall I appreciated that wonderful hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and excellent and great to deal with. Rooms with the terrace had a quiet atmosphere.

everything is perfect here, had a really good stay for the price. the units are large and stylish with the terrace. the hotel boasts very central location near to everything. overall good food, plus there is snog roof & bar close by.

The personnel at the Wilson Galata Hotel were responsive and caring. the hotel was fashionable, neat, and had a beautiful terrace with a wonderful view of Galata Tower. - the location was perfect, convenient, and adjacent to all the main sights such as markets, mosques, buses connecting to major points of interest in Istanbul. - We enjoyed a lovely meal at Nefes, just a few meters away from the hotel.

The hotel has an amazing and incredible location, just a minute's walk from a tower and a main street. Bars and restaurants are also just a minute away. I had a really good stay for the price and would love to return.
